Learning outcomes |
Provide students with a detailed knowledge of the anatomy and ocular physiology of the posterior pole. At the end of this curricular unit the student should be able to describe and locate the structures associated with the posterior pole of the eyeball, recognize the anatomical and functional relationships between each and interrelate them. It should also be able to apply techniques of exploration of the posterior pole of the eyeball and optical pathways.

(7) Techniques of ocular exploration of the posterior pole (biomicroscopy, direct ophthalmoscopy, campimetry and pupillary reflexes).

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
The content development will be carried out based on a theoretical approach through the presentation of the program contents in digital support, as well as through the transmission of knowledge of a theoretical and practical nature using laboratories. The student will be evaluated through theoretical and practical tests.
