Learning outcomes 1. Provide a theoretical and analytical framework on international regimes -
sectoral and/or regional – that allow international actors to participate
in governance at the global level;
2. Understand the structures and processes for negotiating the norms and rules of the
international governance;
3. Analyze and evaluate international decision-making mechanisms;
4. Deepen analytical and research skills with regard to
global policies regimented in the various international organizations;
5. Elucidate the complementarity, conflict or gap in certain areas of
international performance of more or less legal rules and norms that regulate
the behavior of international actors.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Teaching is theoretical-practical, with a double component of seminars and workshops with the participation of invited specialists. Classes must be attended and participation based on the readings indicated for each week is counted towards the final evaluation.

A1 – In-class participation: 25% (5/20)
A2 – Article Review: 25% (5/20)
A3 – Essay and presentation: 50% (10/20)
