Projecto Multimédia I

Código 16519
Ano 1
Semestre S1
Créditos ECTS 12
Carga Horária TP(120H)
Área Científica Design Multimédia
Learning outcomes Fostering interdisciplinary research;
Preparation for development problems: resolution and alternatives;
Development of skills for research activities and professional environments;
Research and planning capacity;
Concept development and exploration capacity;
Capacity to integrate diverse knowledge and different media into common interactive models;
Capacity for realization and mockup creation for spatial installations;
Autonomy in problem-solving and in discovering varied solutions for the same problem;
Critical thinking and quality in work development;
Aptitude for group work and in a professional setting;
Awareness of the importance of authorship and creativity in the field of design.
Syllabus Based on this research, students will conceive and develop a multimedia project that culminates in the creation of a finalized, functional design object.

Project methodologies such as Double Diamond, Design Thinking, or Design Sprint will be crucial for structuring the development process. The journey includes the planning phase, prototyping solutions, and materializing the design object.

Progress will be monitored through interim presentations, where key stages of research and development will be assessed. This process integrates theoretical grounding, critical reflection, and the practical materialization of concepts, culminating in the production of a design artifact with social and cultural relevance.
