Learning outcomes 1. Know the theoretical and practical models underlying neuropsychological assessment;
2. Characterize the main neuropsychological syndromes and methods of neuropsychological assessment;
3. Demonstrate competence in administering, scoring, and interpreting the results of neuropsychological tests.
4. Demonstrate the ability to articulate and communicate information obtained from interviews, clinical history, and neuropsychological test results in the preparation of a neuropsychological report.
5. Understand the complexity of neuropsychological assessment work.
6. Demonstrate skills in planning and implementing neuropsychological rehabilitation techniques.
7. Demonstrate the ability to monitor, articulate, and communicate information from the outputs of the intervention.
8. Understand the complexity, potential, and limitations of intervention work in neuropsychological stimulation and rehabilitation.
9. Be familiar with current research topics in this field.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria Theoretical classes with access to current and representative bibliography on the topics, including studies for the Portuguese population.
Training in testing skills/practices in the application, scoring, and analysis and interpretation of results, as well as Training in testing/practical skills in the application, scoring, analysis, and interpretation of results, as well as
case formulation, based on practical work using a neuropsychological assessment manual/protocol for
adults and/or elderly adults, which will be made available to students. Training in skills for planning a neuropsychological stimulation and/or
rehabilitation program adapted to clinical conditions. Training in practical skills for implementing, monitoring, and
integrating information/outputs from cognitive rehabilitation.
