Learning outcomes |
This course aims to promote the development of competences for the experimental teaching of physics, to convey the importance of conducting experimental activities rigorously and to perform the statistical treatment of the results.
The emphasis on conceptual understanding, leveraged by experimental verification, is fundamental to the motivation of students in the field of science, hence the importance of applying theoretical knowledge in practice.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
1. Plan and execute a set of experiments distributed among several thematic units of Physics;
2. Use error theory to evaluate and discuss the results of the experiments performed;
3. Use databases to search scientific articles related to the topics to be developed;
4. Critically analyze the work developed based on the existing bibliography.
