Learning outcomes The objective of this curricular unit is to introduce students to the basic concepts and models of monetary and financial economics. Students must achieve the following objectives:
• Understanding the fundamental aspects of monetary theory and financial theory;
• Understanding the functioning of monetary and financial markets;
• Develop the perception of the limits of the monetary and financial analysis.
