2 (two) Research Fellowship (BI) for Bachelor/Licenciatura | SEGAL

Main research field: Communication Sciences

Job description: Each research position will consist of a full time position for a period of 12 months (with the possibility to be renewed until September 2019 under revision of the performance) at SEGAL (Space & Earth Geodetic Analysis Laboratory), Department of Computer Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal. The selected candidate will conduct research in the field of Science Communication.

Admission conditions:
- Candidates must have completed a 1st cycle in Communication Sciences and a Master of Sciences degree in Social Sciences.
- Proficiency in English.

Preferential Requisites:
- Strong knowledge in the fields of journalism, social networks and video/audio edition.
- Ability to work in an organized and structured way.
- Capacity to work independently, according to the instructions received.

Working place: SEGAL (Space & Earth Geodetic Analysis Laboratory), Department of Computer Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal, under the supervision of Prof. Rui Fernandes.

Duration of Research Fellowship: The fellowship will last 12 months and is expected to start by April 2017 or the earliest possible date thereafter. Each fellowship contract may be renewed until September 2019, subject to a positive annual evaluation.
