The University of Beira Interior is opening 2 (two) positions for Research Fellowship (BI) within the framework of the European Union ESFRI project EPOS-IP (European Plate Observing System — Implementation Phase).

Main research field: Computer Sciences

Sub research fields: Information Systems, Web Services

Admission conditions:
- Candidates must have completed a Master of Sciences degree in Computer Sciences or similar areas.
- Proficiency in English.

Preferential Requisites:
- Strong knowledge of Information Systems and Internet Pirotocols.
- Relevant scientific publications.
- Ability to work in an organized and structured way
- Good social and team working skills.
- Capacity to work independently, according to the instructions received.

Working place: SEGAL (Space & Earth Geodetic Analysis Laboratory), Department of Computer Sciences, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal, under the supervisioni of Prof. Rui Fernandes.

Duration of Research Fellowship: Each fellowship will last 12 months and is expected to start by August/September 2017 or the earliest possible date thereafter.

Deadline for candidature and submission form of applications: The application is open from 21/07/2017 until 03/08/2017.
