One Post-Doctoral Grant (BPD) | C-MAST

A competition is open for a Post-doctoral research grant within the project Centro-01-0145-FEDER-000017 – EMaDeS – Energy, Materials and Sustainable development, co-financed by the Program Portugal 2020 (PT 2020), within the Programa Operacional Regional do Centro (CENTRO 2020) and European Union by the Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER), project taking place in the C-MAST-Centre for Mechanical and Aerospace Sciences and Technology, Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã.

Scientific Area: Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering.

Required education level and research experience: The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering and expertise in the area of nanocomposites (production) and mechanical characterization. Special relevance will be given to the candidates with experience in graphene and relevant scientific merit demonstrated by the number of papers published in journals indexed to the ISI or Scopus database.

Workplace and Scientific supervision: The workplace will be at C-MAST‐Centre for Mechanical and Aerospace Sciences and Technology, Electromechanical Engineering Department, University of Beira Interior, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Paulo Nobre Balbis dos Reis.

Duration: 6 months renewable by similar periods, with the favorable advice of the supervisor, until the end of the project (December 2020).
