Learning outcomes - To recognize the specificity of sociological knowledge, understanding how it differs from and is similar to other social sciences.
- To use sociological imagination and understand its relevance to the development of a sociological perspective.
- To develop a scientific and reflexive stand.
- To define and apply basic sociological concepts.
- To define, give examples and demonstrate the relevance of culture, society, socialization, social institutions and social change.
- To understand the inter-influences between micro and macro aspect of society.
- To analyze and interpret basic readings in sociology.
- To demonstrate capacity to discuss and sociologically argument.
