Learning outcomes |
To put students in contact with the most recent research, national and international, focused on the most relevant and current themes of Clinical Psychology and Health for the advanced training to be obtained in the course.
To promove students' understanding and capacity for critical and evaluative analysis of the themes in focus, based on the promotion of a solid scientific debate.
To develop autonomy in the investigation, analysis, organization, elaboration, and discusssion of the major themes of clinical psychology and contemporary health, as well as familiarity with scientific production and debate in a scientific context.

Syllabus |
As there is a variation with regard to the themes of the conferences and guest lecturers, they will be inserted in the major themes to be addressed within the scope of the course. Among others, the following areas stand out: Behavioral Change and Health Indicators; Occupational Health; Psychogerontology; Sexology; Mental health; etc.

Teaching Methodologies and Assessment Criteria |
This CU consists of a series of Conferences conducted by national and foreign researchers on relevant topics of the PCS. Before each Conference, autonomous work is carried out by students, as well as preparatory research work on the subject to be addressed. The students will analyze the theoretical and methodological aspects of the theme as a way of preparing them for active participation in each Conference. The methodology implies the active involvement of the students in their own training, stimulating their autonomy in the investigation, analysis, organization, elaboration, and presentation of the major themes based on the work presented by the invited lecturers.
The individual assessment consists of a post-conference thematic research report.

Specific bibliography authored by the invited Lecturers will be distributed, which will constitute the main base of work of preparation for the Conferences.
