Learning outcomes Objectives:
Standardize chemical fundaments for application in engineering.
Knowing the chemical concepts to understand and justify the applied phenomena.
Recognize the basic concepts of chemistry and learn to apply their contents.
Skills:
Identify the chemical compounds.
Know the differences between the types of chemical reactions.
Determine energy capacity in chemical reactions.
Understand the electronic structure of atoms.
Analyze the chemical bonds between atoms.
Realize the effect of properties of liquid, solid and solutions
Understand and nominate organic compounds and realize the difference of compounds due to the presence of different functional groups in organic molecules.
Analyze the effect of corrosion on the materials.
Learn to relate the transmitted concepts and apply them in the disciplines of later years.
