Learning outcomes The main objective is to develop a functional understanding of the morphology and functioning of the organs and systems of the human
body.
The student must demonstrate:
1. Understanding the object of study of anatomy and physiology and its context in sports sciences;
2. Knowledge and ability to understand the anatomo-physiological mechanisms related to the movement of the human body, considering
the nervous and musculoskeletal systems and the systems that contribute to homeostasis; endocrine-metabolic, blood, cardiocirculatory,
respiratory, digestive, excretory, skin and appendages;
3. Identify the anatomical aspects of the musculoskeletal, central and peripheral nervous, endocrine, cardiocirculatory and respiratory,
digestive, urinary systems and understand the physiological properties of each;
4. Understanding the importance of the various systems in maintaining body temperature;
5. Basic understanding of the development and aging process.
