The International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) is looking for bright, articulate writers with a keen interest in trade and sustainable development policy issues to participate in its first ever Bridges Writing Competition. Disseminated regularly to tens of thousands of targeted policymakers and influencers, the Bridges suite of periodicals is one of the most respected resources for news and analysis on trade and sustainable development.
Winners will have their article published in the range of Bridges periodicals (in six languages) and could win a trip to Nairobi, Kenya, where ICTSD will be hosting the Trade and Development Symposium (14-17 December), alongside the WTO’s Tenth Ministerial Conference. Two thousand dollars in cash prizes will also be awarded.
The competition is open only to students currently enrolled in a university programme (undergraduate, masters, PhD inclusive). The competition now underway and deadline of 31 October 2015, midnight has been set.
