Lecture 1. Literary monuments of Kievan Rus. Reformist ideas and the Baroque era in Ukrainian culture.
Lecture 2. "The Age of Enlightenment": 18th century Ukrainian and Russian philosophy, Grygoriy Skovoroda and Alexander Radishchev.
Lecture 3. Philosophy and literature of romanticism in Ukraine (first half of the 19th century). Religious philosophy of Pamfil Yurkevych. Philosophy of Ukrainian identity. Ivan Kotliarevsky, Tarass Shevchenko, Panteleimon Kulish.
Lecture 4. The first half of the 19th century in Russian literature and philosophy. Decembrists and Aleksandr Pushkin. Slavophilism and Westernism.
Lecture 5. Anthropologism and aestheticism in Russian literature: Fyodor Tyutchev, Afanasy Fet, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Lev Tolstoy.
Lecture 6. Ukrainian reflections of the second half of the 19th century - early 20th. Social philosophy and modernism in literature. Lesya Ukrainka, Ivan Franko, Mykhaylo Drahomanov, Oleksandr Potebnya.
Lecture 7. Russian philosophy at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, modern literature.
Lecture 8. The Soviet period for the Ukrainian and Russian culture of thinking. Post-Soviet period.
