Job description: This research position will consist of a full time position for a period of 6 months in the framework of the EPOS-IP (European Plate Observing System - Implementation Phase) project. The selected candidate will compile and organize the geomechanics and rock physics information already produced in the consortium laboratories for their future management in databases, and will eventually consult scientific reports in Portuguese language. Candidates must hold a degree in Geological and Mining Engineering or in a similar area and some expertise in Computer Sciences- Information Systems – Data base Management. The contract will be with UBI, which represents the Portuguese Consortium at EPOS-IP.
