Post-Doctoral Grant | Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

We are accepting applications for a Post-doctoral research grant within the project Centro-01-0145-FEDER-000017 – EMaDeS – Energy, Materials and Sustainable development, co-financed by the Program Portugal 2020 (PT 2020), within the Programa Operacional Regional do Centro (CENTRO 2020) and European Union by the Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER), project taking place in the C-MAST-Centre for Mechanical and Aerospace Sciences and Technology, Department of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal.

Scientific Area: Mechanical Engineering.

Admission Requirements: The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent as well as research expertise in numerical simulation using Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation (Ansys Fluent and/or COMSOL) and experimental testing. Knowledge in acquisition systems, measuring probes, as well as in monitoring/traceability systems are preferable factors. Special relevance will be given to candidates with articles published in scientific journals indexed to the ISI or Scopus databases and who regularly publish at this level. Candidates should have very high proficiency in the English language (minimum level C1, of the Common European Reference Framework for languages). Candidates should also be able to demonstrate high abilities for scientific work in multidisciplinary teams.
