UNITA – Universitas Montium provides the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “Dracula – Between Pop Culture and Tourism”, a unique interdisciplinary program that investigates the Dracula myth’s influence on tourism, media, and pop culture.
The curriculum includes a mixture of lectures, workshops, and site visits that provide hands-on experience in the field, which will be thoroughly guided by the Aliance partners from the Transilvania University of Brașov.
During the BIP, participants will have the chance to analyse the magnetic pull of the Dracula myth on tourist hotspots, observe the economic and cultural ripple effects of literature-induced tourism and understand the transformative power of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” on modern media and creative industries.
The program unfolds in the heart of Transylvania, Romania’s county of Brașov, from October 28th to November 1st, and the subscriptions are opened, by e-mail, until May 25th (Saturday).
